Move Digital AG (hereinafter referred to as "Move Digital ", "we" or "us") is committed to maintaining the privacy of every visitor to our website. We collect Personal Data from you when you contact us to request additional information regarding our products and services. This information is collected via our contact form.

Which Personal Data items do we collect

The Personal Data we collect via the contact form includes the following items:

In addition to us collecting information via the contact form, we collect Personal Data when you send us an email to info@movedigital.ch or talents@movedigital.ch

Data items include your name, contact information (e.g., email address, phone number) and content (e.g., free text, attachments). 

Other information we collect in addition to Personal Data

We may collect information other than Personal Data through our website or marketing communications including:

  • Through log files and resource monitoring: An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and may be identified and logged automatically in our log files and elsewhere whenever a user visits our website. 
  • Using cookies: We use necessary cookies to make our website work. Necessary cookies enable core functionality such as security, network management, and accessibility. You may disable these by changing your browser settings, but this may affect how the website functions. We'd also like to set optional analytics cookies to help us to improve our website by collecting and reporting information on how you use it. The cookies collect information in a way that does not directly identify anyone. Where do we store your Personal Data

Your Personal Data is stored on our application server (if received via the contact form) respectively on our email server (if received via email).

Your IP address is stored on our application server. Google Analytics, Adobe Fonts and Browser-update.org process your IP address but do not store it. 

Deletion and retention period

Application server and email server:

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and only to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve potential disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Google analytics:

Adobe Fonts:

Transfer of Personal Data to other jurisdictions

If we process data in a third country or do so in the context of using third-party services or disclosing or transferring data to third parties, this will only be done if it is done to fulfil our contractual obligations, on the basis of your consent, due to a legal obligation or on the basis of our legitimate interests. Subject to legal or contractual permissions, we only process data or have data processed in a third country if the processing is carried out on the basis of special guarantees, such as the officially recognized determination of a level of data protection corresponding to that of the EU (e.g., for the USA through the "Privacy Shield") or compliance with officially recognized special contractual obligations (so-called "standard contractual clauses").

Purpose of processing

We use the Personal Data which we collect from you via our contact form, or via emails sent to info@movedigital.ch, in order to provide you with additional information about our products and services. 

We use the Personal Data which we collect from you via emails sent to talents@movedigital.ch in order to process your job application to one of the open positions we announce on our website. 

Data security

We restrict access to Personal Data about you to those Move Digital employees, contractors or agents who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your Personal Data, including firewalls, individual passwords and encryption and authentication technology.

We do not use your Personal Data for any purposes other than as set out above. We do not disclose Personal Data to any third parties, except if we are required to do so under the laws and regulations of the countries in which we operate.

Security of Data Transfers

We take the protection of personal data into account during the development or selection of hardware, software and processes, in accordance with the principle of privacy by design / by default.  The security measures include in particular the encrypted transmission (SSL) of data between your browser and our server.

Please note that no method of transmission via the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Although we strive to use reasonable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data. We recommend that you use antivirus software, a firewall and similar software to protect your system and data.

Your rights

Subject to the laws and regulations of the countries in which we operate, you have the right to information, correction, and deletion of your Personal Data. You have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data. An objection only has future effect and does not affect previous processing. For the assertion of these rights, you can contact Move Digital at the address provided in this Policy. If Move Digital does not comply with the applicable data protection law, you have the right to file a complaint directed at the competent regulatory authority.
